  1. Dissolve the following in 900ml of H2O
    • 10g NZ amine
    • 5g NaCl
    • 5g Bacto-yeast extract
    • 1g casamino acids
    • 2g of MgSO4-7H2O
  2. Stir until all solids have dissolved
  3. Adjust to pH 7.0 with 5N NaOH (usually requires about 200ul)
  4. Adjust volume to 1 liter with H2O
  5. Sterilize by autoclaving
